The Arden, Atkin, Mould and Reid Scholarships
These Senior Scholarships are awarded to students of exceptional merit and are a mark of great honour. To reflect this, the value of a scholarship will be paid to a successful candidate irrespective of his/her other sources of funding during the pupillage year.
Who may apply
Application for the Scholarships is open to all students during their BVC, for payment during their pupillage year. Selection criteria The senior scholarships are awarded to students of exceptional merit. The following further criteria are taken into account: i. University academic record; ii. Performance in a viva voce examination in the form of a discussion on current topics of general interest to lawyers; iii. Involvement in mooting or debating, and participation in Inn activities. In addition, performance in an Inn Moot or the Lee Essay prize may be taken into account.
Amount of the Scholarships
The Arden, Atkin, Mould and Reid Scholarships are each worth £5,000. |
