Document Delivery Services

The Library is happy to supply copies of legal materials by post, fax or e mail for the purposes of judicial proceedings or for private research on receipt of a copyright declaration form. This service is available to all barrister and student members of the Inn and to barristers of other Inns when material is not held by their own library.    

Please download the form you require below and return it by post, fax or email. ( please note forms must be signed manually where possible )

Charges for this service are as follow:-                                     

 

Barristers in Central London   WC1, WC2, EC1, EC4

£5 for the first item                                    

£2.50 for each additional item  

Barristers outside Central London (excluding overseas) and students

£3.00 for the first item

£1.50 for each additional item

Overseas Bar

Handling charge of £5 for the first item and £2.50 for each additional item

Plus copy charges as follow:                                

50p per sheet for copies sent by post or fax                                    

15p per sheet for copies sent by email            

 

The Library can also obtain photocopies of specific items from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies on behalf of barristers whose chambers are not subscribers to IALS services.  Please contact Gray's Inn Library directly if you require this service.
