The Bench look upon the Committee as the "Voice of Hall". As appears from our Constitution, this is a broad brief.

Anyone who has read our Newsletters will know that we are primarily concerned to bring Members of Hall back into the Inn, and to involve them in all aspects of its affairs. As the saying has it, "Gray's Inn for life … not just for Call Night".

 

Most members of the Inn have had little or no contact with the Inn since they were called. Apart from Graya (which many members do not receive) there has been no real attempt to regain, let alone maintain contact with, our membership. Now is a time of change. We are determined to encourage all Members of Hall to see the Inn as a central part of their professional lives.

To make the change effective we need the co-operation of all our members.There is now a computer database of members of the Inn. Please ensure that you are on it. This can be achieved via this site and by email contact with any one of us.
