Pupil Supervisors
In order to become a pupil supervisor a barrister must by approved by his or her Inn whilst meeting the eligibility requirements as set out in Schedule C of the Bar Training Regulations.
Summary of Eligibility:
- The prospective pupil supervisor must have been in practice for at least 6 of the previous 8 years
- His or her practice must be their primary occupation
- He or she must have been entitled to exercise a right of audience as a barrister during the two years immediately preceding the date of the application
